2026 Scholarship Application

We are delighted to announce the availability of a scholarship opportunity for graduating high school seniors from Hampton City or Newport News City Schools. This scholarship aims to recognize outstanding academic achievements and support deserving students in their pursuit of higher education.

The Pretty with a Purpose Scholarship offers a $1,000 award to a qualified high school senior who meets the following eligibility criteria:

1. Must be a senior currently attending and planning to graduate from Hampton City Schools or Newport News City Schools.
2. Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 at the time of application.

We believe in the importance of education and are committed to empowering talented students like YOU to achieve their academic goals. This scholarship opportunity is designed to provide financial assistance to a well-deserving student who has demonstrated academic excellence and is ready to embark on their collegiate journey.

To apply, please complete the application form below. 

Along with the application, please include the following supporting documents:

1. A current high school transcript reflecting your academic achievements.
2. A letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, or another school official who can speak to your character and academic abilities.

The deadline for submitting your application is June 1, 2026. Late submissions will not be considered, so please make sure to complete and submit all required materials before the deadline.
